The existing single-family house was extensively renovated and expanded with an addition. Due to its location within a nature conservation area, ecological construction played a central role. All building components that were replaced or added were therefore executed using sustainable materials. The planning process also accounted for the protection of local wildlife, particularly bats. Nesting spaces were deliberately integrated into the eaves of the house to provide the animals with suitable long-term habitat.
To restore the site’s original character, several old garages and sheds on the property were demolished, enhancing the authenticity of both the building and its surroundings.
